Create interactive buttons and popup text in Canvas

If you are looking to incorporate buttons and popup menus within your courses then you can leverage Canvas styling to create an interactive button effect with very simple HTML. You can link buttons to external Canvas course navigation content (e.g. Pages, Module, Gradebook, etc.), webpages, documents for download, or even a mailto email link (i.e. clicking the button would draft an email).
