Create your own reaction gifs!
These days, animated gifs are a language of the internet. They're memes, they're interactive, they're a lot of fun. If you're not using gifs with your students then you should consider it, and if you find yourself searching for your favorite gif to share, then STOP right now and create your own. It's easy, it's fun, and your students will absolutely love seeing your looped reactions.
In this webinar we will explore a free tool, screencast-o-matic, and review some helpful tips, techniques, and practices for making that perfect interaction. We will walk through the steps of planning and creating your gif, and how to upload it into your Canvas course. You can use your gifs on announcements of pages, in assignment instructions, or as reactions on discussion threads.
This will be part 1 of a 2-part series. In December we will follow up and showcase a different platform for animating gifs using shapes, text, and illustrations. Stay tuned!
