Administrators can manage all sub-accounts and courses where an LTI 1.3 tool is available and unavailable for use from the root account level. Multiple sub-accounts and courses can share the same deployment ID.

Why is it valuable?

It's easy to set a tool to default to be available and add exceptions where it should not be available or vice versa, making tool management much simpler and making it easy to see where a tool is set up from one central location. Having multiple sub-accounts and courses share a single deployment ID reduces the need to go back-and-forth with vendors during setup and when creating new courses or sub-accounts.
