We will demonstrate how a Canvas grading protocol allows instructors to use multiple choice and short answer quizzes to assess and rate student competency using an embedded rubric. Demonstrable competence is linked directly to student performance and the resulting data provides broad-based metrics useful for programmatic improvement and institutional accreditation.
