Students graduating into post-secondary opportunities are asked to document their learning, too often, by references to proxy measures, such as course grades, GPA, or transcripts. Badges and performance assessments cite evidence of direct demonstrations of learning. Educators -- students, teachers, and policy experts -- from one high school and community college share their experiences building information-rich digital badges to broaden access to college credit and post-secondary opportunity.
