Reactivate student account

I went through and deleted students who had withdrawn, not realizing that they couldn't be reinstated.  Is there a way to reactivate the accounts?  I have seen the feature requests for disabling students, which is sorely needed!  We have several students who leave and come back.

Did you delete through the UI or SIS imports? I believe all users in Canvas (as have been my experience) show up in an SIS export or Provisioning report as "Deleted". (depends on how they are created) Unless you've done something beyond deleting through the UI (possible, we've done it), then you should be able to run one of those reports (if you have the permissions) and change the state of those users to Active again. If I'm misunderstanding, please let me know.

I deleted them manually through the UI.  I had run the SIS import report and didn't see the deleted accounts, but once I ran the Provisioning Report, all was good.  I have reactivated those students now and we are ready to roll.  I really wish there was an easier way to deactivate a user.  A toggle between active and inactive would be great.
