This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 2/26/25
The module menu placement modal no longer closes when pressing the x.
Pressing the X should close the module.
Refresh the page to close the modal.
Prerequisite:
An external tool with the Module Menu placement enabled.
Go to the course modules page.
Click the 3 dots on the top right of a module to launch the module menu placement, and select the tool.
Try clicking the X in the top right, and see how the modal does not close.
