Engineers are currently investigating the issue.
When opening the mobile SpeedGrader on the Android Teacher app, the grades change on their own without manual input to be one grade lower than the one you actually selected after the grade gets rounded.
This behavior only occurs when the grade being given has two decimal places so the lower the amount of points the assignment is worth the easier it’s reproducible.
Instead, grades should be applied so that they are not rounded down to a lower grade letter automatically after applying them.
No workaround exists at this time.
Prerequisite: Published course a teacher and student.
Create a published assignment set to use Letter Grading.
Make the assignment worth 1 point
or something that will result in the numerical score that the letter grade gives has two decimal places.
As the teacher log into the app and navigate to the assignment.
Open the submission page for the student and attempt to give an A.
Notice the grade changes on its own to a lower grade.
