[OPEN] Some gradebook filter do not stay active after page refresh


Engineers are currently investigating the issue.


Some gradebook filter do not stay active after page refresh:

  • Start & End date - the filter is completely removed when refreshing the page.
  • Grading periods - the filtering itself is not removed, but the indicator on which filter is applied disappears next to the Apply Filters button.

Expected Behavior

The applied filters should stay active after refreshing the browser page.


Apply the filter again after refreshing the page.

Steps to Reproduce

Prerequisites: Have a course that is part of a term which is associated with a grading period.

Start & End date

  1. Create several assignments in a course, make sure they have due dates.

  2. Navigate to the Gradebook.

  3. Select the Start & End date gradebook filter, enter dates and apply the filter.

  4. Refresh the page.

  5. Observe that the filter in completely removed.

Grading period:

  1. - 2. Same as above.

  2. Select the Grading period gradebook filter, apply the filter for any of the options.

  3. Refresh the page.

  4. Observe that while the filtering of the gradebook fits the previously selected filter, the indicator showing which grading period filter is applied has been removed.
