Quantitative data setting locked in sub-accounts makes new created courses not appear in sub-account

This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 7/03/24

Description

When the "Restrict view of quantitative data" and "Lock this setting for sub-accounts and courses" settings are applied for a sub-account, newly created courses in the sub-account, or any account under that sub-account, do not appear in that sub-account Courses courses page and are not searchable there.

Expected Behavior

Newly created courses should appear in the Sub-account Courses page.

Workaround

No workaround exists at this time.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a sub-account. Enable "Restrict view of quantitative data" and "Lock this setting for sub-accounts and courses"

  2. In that sub-account or a lower one, create a course.

  3. Check the courses page in the sub-account for the course you created.
