This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment in version 7.13.
No workaround exists at this time.

Create a Canvas course in a Consortia with at least one student & publish the course

Create a Studio video within the instance by clicking Studio on the global navigation and:

Clicking “Create”

Click “Studio Capture”

Click “Start Recording”

Click “Finish” to end recording

Return to your course page
-
Click on Pages and click to add a page

Click the plug-in icon in the RCE and select “Studio”

Select the video recorded in Step 2 and then select “Embed Media”

Click Save and Publish for the page

Log in as the student on the mobile app in the root Instance (apac-consortia)

Navigate to the course and see that the embedded Studio media does not appear
