This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 9/10/25.
When using the "data" HTML tag in New Quizzes, they are stripped when saving the page.
The "data" tag should not be stripped, as it is in the HTML allow list.
No workaround exists at this time.
Create a New Quiz
In any field with the RCE, add content with the "data" tag
Click Done, then re-open the editor. They will now show just the <p> tags
