This post provides an overview of the features and products that we shared during the October Mastery Connect Updates webinar, including our now digital Mastery View College Prep Assessments, along with links to resources where you can learn more.

Streamlined Assessment Experience
This theme centers around enhancements that we’ve made to ensure that creating, administering, and taking assessments is as smooth as possible for educators and students.
Streamlined assessment experience features that are available now include:
- Quick Reassess: Educators can create follow-up assessments on previously assessed standards using items from the Mastery Item Bank in just a few clicks. Review the product blog, read the 1-Pager or watch the video to learn more about Quick Reassess.
- Item Bank Keyword Search: The Item Bank now includes keyword search functionality that allows you to search both question stems and passages for relevant items. Read the release notes to learn more.
- New Drawing and Math Rich Text Item Types: There are now two additional item types available when creating new items for assessments to give students more tools to submit their responses and the flexibility to show their work. Read the release notes to learn more.
- Clone and Realign: This feature allows you to clone existing assessments to a new standard set. Read the release notes to learn more.
Features that are currently in development to support streamlined assessment experiences include:
- Student Single Sign on from Classlink, Preview Student Experience, the Desmos Matrix Calculator, and Bulk Printing for Benchmark and Formative Assessments. Review the roadmap to learn more about what’s coming and keep an eye out on our release notes so you’re the first to know when these features become available.
Actionable Insights
This theme focuses on updates that we’ve made to improve reporting, allowing educators and administrators to get more actionable and intuitive insights into student progress and performance.
Updates available now include:
- Mastery Analytics: The new Mastery Analytics provides educators and administrators with immediate access to actionable insights. Review the product blog, read the 1-pager, or watch the video to learn more.
- Tracker Creation Improvements: Districts can now approve cores for better alignment, restrict teacher tracker creation to prevent duplicates, and leverage in-app tours for step-by-step guidance. Read the product blog to learn more.
- Bulk Reporting for Mastery View Predictive Assessments: Mastery View Predictive Assessment customers can now efficiently export multiple predictive reports at once. Review the release notes to learn more.
- Mastery View College Prep Reports in Mastery Connect: Districts with Mastery View College Prep assessments can now access reports directly from Mastery Connect. Read the blog post to learn more.
Assessments that Drive Outcomes
Our goal is to provide assessments that support educators and students throughout every stage of their learning journey. This theme focuses on assessments that can support students throughout K-12 and prepare them for their futures.
Updates available now include:
- Mastery View College Prep Assessments– now digital: College prep assessments are now available online through Mastery Connect to help you in preparing students for the digital ACT. Read the 2-pager, watch the video, and get sample items and reports to learn more.
- Mastery Item Bank College Prep: The item bank provides educators and students with the additional practice items they need to efficiently prepare for the ACT by targeting specific skills and knowledge gaps to drive improvement. Read the release notes to learn more.
- Mastery View Predictive Assessments Multi-State Validity Report: The findings from this report reveal strong predictive validity in four states and suggest that the Predictive Assessments* can be used by schools to identify students who are performing below grade level and may need additional targeted intervention to reach proficiency.
