I have noticed that I am unable to fix any item banked questions that have a wrong answer selected. Teachers are not perfect, and prone to mistakes. When I give students a test or an exam, and I see that I've marked the wrong answer as the "correct" answer, I'd like to be able to go back into the test, edit the answer to the question, and have the scores for the students updated accordingly. Right now, the process is having to clone the assessment, transfer all the student answers, one by one, and then use the cloned test instead. This can take hours of time to accomplish, where it would simply be easier to let me go in and fix my mistake.
Can this, please, be added as a feature to MasteryConnect?
Hello @PatrickDohmen . You are correct that item authored assessments can not be edited after students have taken it. However, any document-based assessments can have the answer key adjusted after delivering to students and the scores will be updated in the tracker.
This is a great feature suggestion! If you would like to share your idea with the Mastery Connect Product Team, you can submit a Mastery Connect Support Ticket and choose the “I have a suggestion” option for the ticket type. The Product Team reviews the customer suggestions periodically when they are planning their Mastery Product Roadmap.
It is absurd that you still cannot alter questions after they are published. Every time I start to make an assessment directly in Mastery Connect, some minor mistake reminds me that this is how their system works and I go back to what I was using before.
