Learning Mastery Gradebook, Outcomes, Rubric, and Mastery Connect Workflow

We currently use Mastery Gradebook and Outcomes for students... how does Mastery Connect sync with the rubrics and tracking we already use? Or is there a plan in place to connect the two.

Is the idea that Learning Mastery in Canvas will be replaced with Mastery Connect, or is there a way to  work hand in hand?

If there is not a plan to sync the two, is there a lan to import learning mastery outcomes and rubrics into Mastery Connect or will all need to be done by hand?

Hello @eshannon !  Thank you for these thoughtful questions.  You can always view what our Mastery Connect Product Team is planning to work on in the near future by viewing our Mastery Product Roadmap.

At this time, if you have purchased Mastery Connect, the best practice would be to replace the use of the Canvas Mastery Gradebook with Mastery Connect.  Mastery Connect is preloaded with all of the current State Standards ready for you to use.  If you have a set of custom standards/outcomes you use, they would need to be created in Mastery Connect.

Can you help me understand how to use solely Mastery Connect with alignment? When doing an assignment with a rubric, it doesn't make sense to have kids type an "essay" in Mastery Connect, especially if using a Google LTI 1.3 assignment/Google doc.  We are moving towards competency/standards-based and it seems like the technology is forcing double work for educators.  Any advice?
