Adding to Item Banks Failed to Update Item Error

While I am adding questions to my Item Banks from quizzes imported from our math curriculum, I often get a "failed to update item" error and it won't let me edit additional questions until I refresh the page and then it will come up for each question. However the questions are updated.  Any idea how I avoid this and save myself 30 minutes of refreshing time while creating these item banks?

What you've described sounds like abnormal behavior. If you're getting that many errors while updating, It is likely your internet browser and we recommend clearing the cache and cookies or trying another browser.

In Chrome
On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click the three dots
Click settings
On the left, choose Privacy and Security
Then, clear browsing data
At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time. I suggest at least 4 weeks
Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
Click Clear data.
