Annotation on New Quizzes

Instructors would like the ability for students to annotate on a stimulus in order to mirror what they would be able to do for state testing.  For reading, being able to annotate while reading/reviewing a text for answers to questions is am encouraged test taking strategy.  Just creating an annotation assignment does not accomplish this goal when questions are associated with a text piece such as a Quiz stimulus.

It sounds like you're wanting to make a suggestion for improvements to New Quizzes...rather than asking a question about Canvas (which is the area where you posted your comments).  If you would like to submit a new Idea for consideration, you can do that here in the Community as well...over at:

Hello @laura_kelly  and welcome to the Community!  As a former teacher, I think this is a great idea, and something you should submit to Canvas as an idea.  Here is a link to the Guide that has that information for submitting this idea.
