Export/Importing New Quizzes Creates Weird Non-Descript File Names

I created a New Quiz. Let's call it "Practice Quiz." The Instructions include an Excel file named "Data.xlsx"

Goal: I want to export the quiz as a QTI file and then share that file with my colleagues so they may import it at their leisure. 

But here is what is happening:

1. I export the quiz "Practice Quiz" 
2. It creates a zip file with 20+ random characters as the name. 
3. I import the zip file into another course (to see if it works properly). It uploads but the file loads with "No Preview is available" and is renamed a random set of characters (and there well, is no Excel file any longer— it loads as a blank .txt (see screenshot))

With Classic Quizzes, I could easily export and import a quiz and, everything, including files, would import fine.

Can anyone help or offer some suggestions for me? What am I missing?
