Programmatic Access to New Quiz Student Responses

Greetings! I can access most canvas data programmatically via the API, however I am having trouble with the New Quizzes.  New quizzes are external to canvas and connect to it via LTI interfaces.  They have their own API's for New Quiz and New Quiz Items.  However, after reviewing the documentation, I can't find a way to pull down the student responses/answers to the quiz items.  Does anyone know how to do this.

I am not currently aware of an API to pull student responses to quiz items specifically. The two current API documents for Canvas on New Quizzes is here:

If it isn't listed here, it hasn't  been created yet essentially. This is  largely due to the fact it is an LTI and it is relatively new in comparison with other Canvas features. There may be others that have found or created the API calls to list this but right now it doesn't look like it's an option and you'll need to use the predefined Canvas features. There's a good likelihood new API calls will be created with the implementation of all the updates coming to New Quizzes: "Expanded API" is under "next" on the roadmap. Hopefully this helps.
