Can the issuer contact be changed to a mailbox that isn't a personal mailbox? I think it's defaulting to my email because I am the Canvas contact here at my company for Instructure but I'd rather this go to a shared mailbox to remove a single point of failure.

Hi,
You'll need to make certain the shared email on the issuer is listed as an "owner" of that issuer. Then you'll want to log in as that shared user and you can then set the email contact for that issuer as the shared mailbox.
You cannot assign the contact email of an issuer on the behalf of someone else.
