Instructure Strategic Services Team has created a checklist to help institutions assess their progress in implementing a Credentials Program. The checklist is based on the Instructure Success Model and covers various areas such as vision, planning, execution, and assessment. It provides actionable items to ensure success in implementing a Credentials Program. Institutions can download the checklist to assess their needs.

We want to help you spread the word about all the awesome things you are doing at your institution - especially your credentialing program!  When badge earners share their badges to their Linkedin profile, let’s get YOUR institution's logo, colors, and branding to go along with it!

Welcome to our new and improved newsletter.  We're excited to share some exciting highlights with you, including the introduction of paid consultancy and training hours, an invitation to our upcoming April webinar, and some new features in our blog. Our monthly newsletter is designed to keep you informed about our latest developments and offerings, so you can stay up-to-date with everything happening with Canvas Credentials.

We have a few things to share this month, and all have to do with the Instructure Community.

Dr. Marc Zaldivar, has been pushing forward the digital credentialing effort at Virginia Tech. Since 2012, the organization has been dabbling in the world of badges and moving towards a digital credentialing program. Their goal is to encourage learners of all levels to become more motivated along their education journey, entice faculty to maintain and learn new professional development skills, and have a ‘learning tracking system’ as a way to keep a record of all these activities over a 4 or more-year cycle.

Canvas Credentials, formerly known as Badgr, joined the Instructure family in mid-2022. Now that the dust has settled on this transition, it’s time to welcome in the Canvas Credentials documentation by giving it some love and care. Sometimes, our documentation needs a little TLC too!
