How do I download a question bank from respondus to a course test bank?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi Nancy. Do you mean you have a set of questions in Respondus and you want to publish them to a course in IvyLearn? You can find Respondus User Guides and Video Tutorials here:
https://web.respondus.com/he/respondus/resources/
In the Quick Start Guide linked above, take a look at the "Using the Publish Wizard" and "The Publish Menu" sections.
There's also a "Publish to Canvas" video tutorial (Publishing to Canvas - YouTube).
If you have any difficulty with it, let me know and I'd be happy to setup a Zoom meeting where you could share your screen and I could walk you through the process.

I have watched the videos. I must be doing something dumb.
I am downloading the test bank from the book I use to Respondus. That is done. Than taking the test bank to my shell in Ivy Learn.
I think my hang up is the Server connection URL. It says to “go to any course list page, then copy the Address line from the browser into the box below”.
What I am doing is going to my Sand box and right clicking on ntetrick-Box-01 then copy link address and pasting it in the box below. Is this the right URL?

Is this the link you're using: https://ivylearn.ivytech.edu/courses/675802 ?
If so, then that's correct. If it's not working, does it give you any kind of error message?
If you downloaded Respondus from Ivy Tech (Faculty Resource Center), it should be setup to connect to IvyLearn by default.
Unfortunately, I'm on a Mac right now which can't run Respondus. I'll have access to a PC tomorrow so I'd be better able to help.

Ok in Publish Wizard it says 1 Publish to Single Course 2 choose an existing server. Is this where I put in the URL? It keeps wanting to default to my sandbox.
