If Powerschool works like most SISs that I have seen, assignments will only pass to the SIS if they are assigned to the entire section, They have a Due date for the assignment and there is at least one graded assignment for one of the students. For the SIS that I have my teachers can not sync mastery Path individual assignments because they are not assigned to individual students. My teachers will create an assignment called ".......Mastery Path" and then put in the total grades for the students scores for the mastery path. They then try to make sure that all assignments for each path total up to the same amount of points. This gives them the ability to assign the final assignment to ALL sections and it will pass to our SIS.
