OneRoster Grade Passback assignment SIS sync problem

We have some assignments that are not part of grade calculation but were enabled for the SIS sync.  The grades have been synced and then disabled in Canvas, but the grade is still in our SIS.  This is causing the calculated course grades in the SIS to be wrong. Do previously synced grades get removed from the SIS after they are disabled?
