"Import SIS" should still be available. The availability of Canvas Data 2 doesn't really have any impact on the SIS Import process.
Hi @mzimmerman , thanks for the reply!
That's weird then, because since september 22, the date scheduled to finish the Canvas Data 1 for the ones who didn't filled the Instructure's form, we haven't been able to use the "Import SIS" function.
What happens when you try to use the SIS Import? Have you contacted Canvas Support?
I haven't contacted Canvas Support yet, but once you click on the SIS Import option, the screen only inform that a previous importation is been made, however it doesn't finish, filing up the attempts made by system integration in a queue.
We have been using SIS Import regularly, so that is definitely something you'll want to contact Support about.
On my Canvas Data Portal, it says that the transition from Canvas Data 1 to Canvas Data 2 does not occur until December 31, 2023, but I'm still not sure why a transition to Canvas Data 2 (which is primarily for retrieving analytics information) should stop SIS Imports from working.
Only to keep up the information, we contacted Canvas Support and they have aborted the filles stuck in processing, so now the SIS Import function is working properly.
Thank you!
