Earlier this month, we announced the infrastructure upgrade powering the Canvas Data 2 (CD2) / DAP Q.... We’re excited to share that this transition is progressing as planned and brings significant improvements in data fidelity, scalability, and performance.

As we have finalized the migration plan for the scheduled maintenance window, we want to provide a quick follow-up for our customers using incremental updates.

What You Need to Know

Good news — if you’re using the DAP CLI or your own integration to perform incremental updates, you can continue using them without any changes. No action is required on your part, and everything will continue to work as expected after the maintenance window.

🔁 If you notice any inconsistencies in your data, we recommend running a full snapshot reload at your earliest convenience. This ensures your data is fully aligned with the improved Snowflake infrastructure.

We expect the transition to be smooth for the vast majority of customers. That said, your data is important, and we want to make sure you feel confident in its integrity.

Why We’re Sharing This

While we’ve taken great care to align both the previous and new systems, some minor discrepancies may occur during the final sync. This is not a widespread issue, and in most cases, no action will be needed.

We’re here to help. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our support team.

Thank you for being a part of this journey with us as we continue to make CD2 faster, stronger, and more reliable.
