Beta: A streamlined interface for the Section drop-down menu.

I took a look at beta and how the selection of Sections compared to production. I like how in beta the student list is denser and when clicking on Sections it opens directly below, but I think it is a step backwards in terms of switching between different sections.

If teachers are in a particular section and are looking at a student down in the list, you now have to scroll up to select a different section. In current production, Sections is always available at the top.

A just found a solution that people might not know about (at least on a PC using the Edge browser), which is to click the dropdown menu and then click Home and it jumps to the top of the dropdown menu and shows Sections.

Hi Andy. Thanks for the thoughtful feedback. We were aiming to make the student list easier to scan and reduce page jumps, but you're right, having to scroll back up to switch sections can be a step back in some workflows. I'm glad you were able to discover that 'home' takes you back to the top of the menu. Appreciate you sharing it out with the group!
