Speed grader Pilot Yes/No can sort by first name now ?

Is sorting by first name possible in this pilot or perhaps it was added recently.

My feeling is that the canvas users were asking for this for a very long time. Me too.

The sorting option for the student list is still by last name.

We think this is a great idea! I'm pleased to let you know that we are going to be adding the ability to sort by first name in Modernized SpeedGrader. The effort is currently under way — I'll let you know when I have more details about when the feature will be available.

I'm pleased to announce this feature is available 🥁🥁.... NOW in production! 🙂

In SpeedGrader Options, you'll notice there are now two name sorting options: "by student sortable name (alphabetically)" and "by student name (alphabetically)".

This feature is available in Modernized SpeedGrader ONLY, not in original SpeedGrader.

agreed. fixed. "name" works. That implies first name.  I have many more bugs to report because the keyboard shortcuts do not work now.
