[ARCHIVED] Screen Sharing Issue - Slow, Choppy, Frozen

I was on a BigBlueBox Conference with a student and tried to share my screen with the student. It took a long time for the student to see my screen come up on their "home" computer. When it finally came up on the students screen, I tried to scroll down on my screen and it took longer for the student's screen to catch up to my screen movements. Finally, the students screen froze.

What could be causing these issues? Is it something with my laptop configuration or with the student's school laptop?

Are there "band width" and "browser" requirements that the student must have "AT HOME" in order to be able to experience all of the capabilities and features of the BigBlueBox? Also, with our students using their home computers, do they have to have any specifications for the routers at home?
