Iʻm trying to figure out why canvas grade book automatically marks my student's resubmissions as late.  I have the grade book set up to automatically deduct points for late submissions.  When students resubmit for revisions they are being marked late instead of resubmitted by canvas.  I can see the status in green for resubmitting but none of my students work changes to the correct status.  Canvas continues to mark it late.  Please help.
