[ARCHIVED] Can anyone recommend Knowledge Base software?

We'd like to create a knowledge base to house all of our instructor and student guides, which are mostly PDFs and videos. In addition to Canvas our university mainly uses Microsoft Office 365 apps.

We decided against both a regular website and Sharepoint/OneDrive because we want an excellent search function.

Does anyone currently use a Knowledge Management tool/app? Wix Answers looks promising, but it seems somewhat new.

Nice-to-haves:

  • WYSIWYG editor
  • Open to the public (no login required)
  • Taggable
  • Allows integration with Teams chat or "Social Intents" web-based chat, or includes a chatbot
  • User forum

Also, it's our first time creating such a repository. Any advice or lessons learned would be most welcome!

Thanks in advance and stay safe out there!
