Coming off the back of the 406 issue, I am now getting a lot of "entity not found or insufficient privileges" errors on the API when trying to award a badge.  This is via my Badgr integration with Zapier but I have not changed anything in my Zap.  I've reconnected the Badgr App with my credentials this morning, so we'll see if that addresses the issue.
