Description of the Bug: I have multiple sections in the grade book. Specifically, I have a section called Level 9 and Level 4. When show "all sections" is selected only the level 9 sections will show. When I select show "Level 4" nothing pulls up at all and only the test student will shows. I have the sections correctly created and assigned to each student. This is a recent issue because it worked for a while but now it will not. Steps to Reproduce: I have tried Chrome, Edge and Safari... the same issue continues across all I have tried different computers... Personal and School... Same issue continues to occur.

I have found the issue and fixed it. This issue is in the current iteration of the LTI and should be fixed soon according to Microsoft. In my case the names create in Canvas did not match the name created by the OneNote Classroom Notebook. Canvas Name: Last_Name, First_Name Middle Initial OneNote Classroom: First_Name Last_Name The solution is to still follow all the steps to link the Notebook to the Canvas course as shown in the video. After you have linked the Notebook, you need to link each student's name in Canvas to the name given in the OneNote. This "Student Linking" is in the same tab as the Classroom Notebook Linking. This is a rather large task but the techs I talked to at Microsoft are working on the solution with the variations between systems.

I am currently trying to setup grading from the OneNote LTI to my Canvas courses so that I can grade from within the OneNote. I have created the notebook and the students are added and linked the notebooks following the direction given. The assignment is created in Canvas by OneNote but when I try to use OneNote to grade the names of students show up but there is no place to put a score in, as shown in the demos online... Thoughts?

When uploading to Mix I have also un-selected the create video option but when students try to access the video it says that it is not playable on mobile devices... It works fine when you go straight to the Mix link using the iPad but you have to hand enter the grades into Canvas (I think).

I am trying to use the Microsoft Mix LTI so my questions in the Mix will insert into the grade book, which is awesome. When I use the computer it works fine but when I use the Canvas App on the iPad or Safari on the iPad it will not show the questions and only shows the Mix as a video. Is anyone else using Mix on Mobile devices and having the same issue? Suggestions?

I found out the other day that there is an issue with our Schools Sharepoint. I am working with our IT department right now on our settings to figure out what the issues actually is.

Hi Dale, I use both PC and MAC for Word. I am currently on the newest release that recently came out and used the previous version for a long time. The last version I never really saw a difference in the capabilities with Word (Excel, yes). The tools and tool location were significantly different between the two platforms. Half the time the tool was in the ribbon and the other half were hidden in the tool bar but all of the tools I used I could find with a little work. I never had to move from one platform to another to accomplish what I was trying to do. The Newest Version I have only had it for about 3 weeks now. I have it on my PC and my Mac. When I installed it on my Mac I assumed I would have to once again find all the tools in different locations but that was far from the truth. The two interfaces look about the same, some differences in the icons but the same ribbon layout and navigation. I hope this is what you were looking for and helps.

Hello Everyone, I am trying to embed a Microsoft 365 document into a "Page." I have the LTI for OneDive activated and turned on. The only time the document appears is when I have another window open with that window logged into my OneDrive account. If I close the OneDrive window and refresh the page in Canvas the document does not show. I have followed the steps I can find on the Canvas Post/Guides and I have checked the help document on Microsoft 365 sharing. At this point I have no idea what is happening or where to even start... Hi Robert, I was bouncing around reading what people wrote and your comment about copying pages caught my eye. I "Copy" a lot of pages from time to time and what I found to work is not "Copying" the page but copying the html code behind the rich content editor. I will start a new page, open the page I am trying to copy, click edit, select the html link instead of the rich content editor and past that code in the new documents html. Might help a little.

What I typically do, especially since I weight assignments, is to mute assignments until I have 3 or 4 to release. I then release those all at the same time, this usually resolves the .1% or 1% phone call/conversation because the grade either levels out to be the same, majorly improves or drops significantly.

I love coming to this conference... Has a lot of good information and being able to talk to the developers about what I think about Canvas and find out what direction it is going with a physical person is awesome. The only thing that I think really needs to be worked on is how hard it is to decide where to go and what to listen to. I am a teacher and really want to listen to other teachers about their classroom, not so interested in the tech side of things. It would be great if you could mark in the handouts or online if the session is a teacher talk about Canvas, if it is a IT presentation or a API sales pitch. I read the descriptions very carefully and there were still a couple of times I was expecting a teacher to be talking about using Video in the classroom and it turned out to be a API pitch... Still liked the conversation but my mind set was completely different.
