I am from Pittsburgh, and I received both my master’s and Ph.D. from Duquesne University. I arrived in MI to pursue a postdoc at Grand Valley State University and then came to Saginaw Valley after one year. Since being at Saginaw Valley, I have served as the English department chairperson, and now I chair the Honors Program. I have advised several student groups over the years. My research interests are experimental contemporary literature and poststructuralist theory.
