This would be a fantastic feature. Not only would this help with younger students who need an easy process to submit original paper work but it would also be of great use for art submissions and those with disabilities. Students with vision problems can work on enlarged paper and submit assignments that they might not be able to see on a computer screen due to size, color or contrast. I hope this feature can be added to the Canvas platform.

I work with elementary aged students that sometimes prefer the old paper and pencil method and I would like them to be able to snap am image of their work to submit as an assignment. So far, I am unable to find any way to do this unless we have them use another program to take an image, save it to their google drive and then submit as a file or attachment. That is too difficult. Is there an easier method through the Canvas platform that doesn't require so many steps?
