[ARCHIVED] What is the easiest method to submit an image of an paper assignment through canvas?

I work with elementary aged students that sometimes prefer the old paper and pencil method and I would like them to be able to snap am image of their work to submit as an assignment.  So far, I am unable to find any way to do this unless we have them use another program to take an image, save it to their google drive and then submit as a file or attachment.  That is too difficult.  Is there an easier method through the Canvas platform that doesn't require so many steps?

I also have students take a picture of written work and them submit it using the image embedding icon on the full-text bar, or upload the file. A "take a picture" method of submitting an assignment would be very helpful!
