I would love for the Audio Recorder to be built into every part of the New Quizzes (Instructions, stimulus, questions, etc.). I teach special education high school math so any Immersive Reader type extension is useless due to equations and math symbols. I exclusively use one new quiz each day and nothing else. I have everything including notes, embedded lessons, embedded tools, practice, homework, etc. in a single New Quiz. This is more efficient for me and much easier for the students to navigate. The only special ed accommodation I am struggling with right now is having the problems read to the students. I know that it is possible to record the audio using an external tool and then upload, etc. but that is so inefficient and time consuming. I would love to have the option to select any question as a bonus question and assign points to it. It would be so simple to add a checkbox to questions to assign it as bonus only. I have even tried to set the assignment to 100 points and then add 110 points worth of questions but then if a student gets 100 points, it actually gives them 90.9% for a grade. I am a math teach so I understand how everything is calculated but I absolutely cannot understand the reasoning for not allowing bonus without having to set questions to 0 points and then go back in to each and every submission to award the points. @tpavlic I have not yet been able to get the paste function to work in a new quiz. When I paste, everything seems fine until I click "Done" and then my picture disappears as if it were never pasted. ... View more

I agree, there should definitely be a way to assign accommodations to student profiles so that the accommodations are automatically applied to each new assignment. Having to go through a list of students in every assignment that isn't sorted in any obvious way (and is not able to be sorted by alpha or section) and then set each accommodation for every single assignment is definitely inefficient for special education teachers. Not being able to copy and paste images is the #1 downfall I have run into for Canvas. Everything takes me a lot longer to make since I have to copy, save, upload, etc. instead of simply snipping and pasting.  I have read some of the cons like taking longer for students to open things or how the image is saved to Canvas, etc. I didn't read a single con that I couldn't find a work around for and being able to paste directly into Canvas would make teachers online lives so much easier and more efficient. For the file size: create a warning screen if a file is larger than a certain size with an option to cancel or proceed... or have upload size option like emails do. For how the files are saved: even if a random file name is created for Canvas when an image is pasted, why couldn't it be saved in a "pasted image" file folder which is sortable by module/date/etc. ...
