I am Associate Professor in the School of Electrical and Information Engineering at The University of Sydney, Australia. I am the director of the Learning and Affect Technologies Engineering Research Laboratory and deputy director of the Centre for Research in Learning and Innovation. My research interests include the design and deployment of technology to increase the understanding and improve digital learning experiences. More specifically, my work examines the areas of learning analytics, personalized active learning, and technology for student support.
