This is absolutely necessary for what I teach. My subject is rather broad, and has several different pathways that students can pursue in learning our subject. I really need the ability to assign modules to each different pathway. I don't want students to have to scroll through all the the modules to find the one that applies to them. Too many errors are happening with that way. Please make this happen!

YES! Please make this adjustment, Canvas team. My students do not always remember to change the quality of the video resolution, and thus they miss out on very important details from the videos. As an instructional tool, being able to see these details is most important. Please either allow the instructor to change the default setting behind the scenes, or unilaterally change all video quality settings to HIGH, and let us change to a lower setting if we need to. Thank you.

Come on, Canvas! This needs to be done asap. My students constantly have to change the resolution with EACH AND EVERY VIDEO! Do they always remember? Nope. Do they miss things because they can't see details very clearly? YES! Please make this change a priority soon! Thank you! 🙂
