Hello Community, We are onboarding Canvas Catalog. We are in between Authorize.net (Accept Hosted) and PayPal Payflow. Do you have any thoughts or experiences with either of these two products? Kari Johnson

We have built an integration to access your enrollments endpoint. The integration is running multiple calls and periodically we are getting a “502 Bad Gateway” response when you make some calls. I cannot discern a pattern nor is this happening on a regular interval either. The integration could run for days and then run into this problem. I checked to make sure I’m not running out of rate-limit tokens and I am not. This last failure I had all my rate-limit tokens when the bad gateway error came back. From doing research I could not ascertain if this was on our side or yours and hoping you could help us out with some diagnosis. We encountered the latest error at: 2020/08/31 14:16:47 and we were calling the endpoint: https://unr.canvaslms.com/api/v1/courses/61407/enrollments?role%5B%5D=StudentEnrollment&page=bookmark:WyJTdHVkZW50RW5yb2xsbWVudCIsIk1hbm5pbmcsIEFpZGFuIiwyMDU2NDkwXQ&per_page=100

@gouldjo ‌ and @dtod ‌ we were able to create the grade integration. I am still waiting for IT to put the package together of the Peoplesoft changes. Hello Everyone, I am currently working on a departmental accessibility reports with the help of #ally I am just curious if any other institutions have begun to tackle this or how they are presenting information to departments on accessibility concerns. I have a question in regards of how other universities push out their university policies other than being required on the course syllabus. Administration is fearful that a syllabus can be lengthy and that students might not get to the information that is in the policies. UNR is now looking into other methods of students getting to the policies/acknowledging them. Is it possible to have prompts, like the Term of Use for new users, to be deployed every semester? Thank you in advanced to any suggestions or input!!!!

vanzandt‌ It looks like canvas might have added a field - unposted_final_grade that is where muted are still calculated.

From Support:I'm showing that the example you have provided is correctly including the muted score when calling the enrollments API. We put in the unposted_current_score, unposted_final_score, unposted_current_grade, and unposted_final_grade values to indicate muted scores.

Hello Kristi, We are looking into piloting Blackboard Ally. I am surprised that you are having difficulty connecting with them. They definitely connect with Canvas and we were able to get a demo phone call. I can talk to the sales rep on who you can contact to have a successful conversation with them. I can let you know if we are going to be purchasing it or not for this year. Kari

I can't wait to seek com-panda-ship! I too will be wandering solo, and I am excited! This year will be my first year as last year my daughter's arrival into this world, followed by mental postpartum prevented me from attending! I can't wait to meet all of you or a good portion of you!
