I have a BS in Chemistry and General Biology, minoring in Math/Physics and Religious Studies; my MS in Chemistry, and my PhD in Educational Technology. After teaching chemistry for as long as I have (15+ years), I love all things related to teaching science and the unique design factors of science courses.
I've also worked with students with disabilities for roughly the last 18 years, so I am very passionate about accessibility and inclusivity in the classroom (both physical and digital). I can go on forever about Universal Design for Learning!
I am also always looking at better ways to integrate OER and other approaches that help reach a wider audience of learners. I've built zero textbook cost degrees (Z-degrees as the current lingo goes), and it's an exciting challenge!
