I was born and raised in central Wisconsin, and I've had the pleasure of teaching in my home community since 2002. Most of those years have been spent teaching 4th grade within our district's Gifted and Talented Magnet program. Currently I serve as an Integration Specialist for the D.C. Everest School District. Within this role, I have the privilege of sharing the power of Canvas with teachers and students in my district. There is no greater feeling as a teacher, than when you can create an authentic learning experience for your students that shows purpose and that what they create, matters. When I'm not in my 'teaching' element, I love to be outdoors. Wether it's running, wake boarding or camping, nature is my escape.
