I have only been able to do this using uploads to Studio/ARC Media, switching to html edit mode </> on the page you are editing. Entering Studio, selecting the audio you want, then Share Media>Create ...

I also want to be able to use these kinds of hierarchical structures in my modules, and have the ability for them to collapse and expand like the modules do. Is there a place to vote on this idea?

A workaround for searching videos is to click on View for your media, then click on Details, then click on Edit Details and then enter Tags for each file. I find course number/name, chapter or module,...

We just migrated to Canvas, and as part of embedding media (audio) into SoftChalk as a music professor, I discovered that the public link and embed code options for Arc media solved a lot of the issue...
