I teach legal analysis and advocacy courses and have been introducing evidence-based learning strategies for the last several years at a break-neck pace. In particular, I've been using peer review and team-based learning in both first-year and upper-level law school courses.
I have always tried to integrate effective technology into my courses. A few years ago, I added online courses to my teaching package, and this has challenged me to rethink how to use the available tools to deliver content without regard to how that might be done in a bricks-and-mortar classroom.
I am participating in a pilot program of Touro College faculty across multiple schools to evaluate Canvas. I've been using it for a few months, and I'm already impressed with how intuitive and flexible the platform is.
