As always, Canvas is behind on updating everything. This is one gotcha that they need to fix. Make Canvas work like Blackboard...please. Canvas/Instructure is among the least responsive software companies whose software I have used. Only PTC is worse and that is saying a lot. PTC is only interested in huge companies. PTC is the worst. Canvas/Instructure is #2 as worst on my list.

When using the free draw annotation tool, I sometimes get weird sketches that are where my mouse has been but not when the free draw tool was selected. I have to delete the odd sketch(es) and then reselect the tool and draw. Sometimes I have to do this several times before the tool draws correctly.

Why in the world is extra credit in Canvas NOT as easy as a check box???????????? Assigning extra credit is a pain in the neck in Canvas. One simple check box changes that. Please make this change!!!!!!

This is so helpful. Could the number of attempts also be included? We switched to a newer version that now has this functionality for assignments. It was only on quizzes before.

I just migrated ALL of the quizzes from the old the new quizzes. And all of the answers I slaved away on entering are now worthless. "Exact Match" now also requires capitalization be the same. That means that some answers that are correct are being marked incorrect. "Close Enough" is nice but requires that I touch every single question in the each of many homework quizzes to choose "close enough" and then pick "ignore case".
This issue is solved simply by having new quizzes assume by default that case does not matter. Then add a check box that says that "Consider Case". "Consider case" should be available on each option.
This should be an easy fix.
