There is no doubt that CANVAS deletes comments, randomly and without regard for correct submission. One has NO choice but to waste unbelievable amounts of time writing all comments in a backup documen...
The question remains whether admins can prevent the use of class participants from initiating emails to the entire class, including excluding the admin from correspondence? These controls are possible...
