Tim is the Manager of Online Learning for the Herberger Institute of Design and the Arts, at Arizona State University. He has a background in music, double majoring in music education and french horn performance, with graduate degrees in education technology and education leadership. Before moving into higher ed, Tim taught instrumental music and computer applications at the middle and high school levels for 15 years, and graduate courses in education technology for 10. He has a passion for online learning, especially how we use technology and media to create personal connections. In addition to online learning, Tim does freelance work in eLearning and audiobook narration. He likes to ride motorcycles, play his french horn, and play disc golf.
