I was wondering if anyone knows how to have this audio player only display the bottom part. I do not want the thing with a music note to display. I was hoping after I saved and published it, the box would disappear. Unfortunately, it does not.

I am recording audio in Rich Content Editor and I am getting a grey box around the audio file. I made sure to turn off the video. I want to get rid of the grey box with the eighth note. I feel like we used to be able to just do an audio recording in the Rich Content Editor and it only posted that and not the entire box. Is there a way to click a word to listen to my recorded pronunciation? I had posted this question several months ago and also posted it on the ideas page. I have had not success in finding an answer. I am trying to record an audio clip directly into the Rich Content Editor and when I do it, this is what happens. I only want to have the "play" part of this. Please help! I have been searching through here and cannot find an answer and it is very frustrating spending hours searching for a solution. Thank you to anyone who can help me.

Does anyone know if there is a way to directly import questions from Classic to the New Quizzes?

The ability to record directly into the quiz is an essential tool for us. I love New Quizzes, but I have to go back to the classic version because it takes too much time to record in an outside program and then have to upload into Canvas. PLEASE add this feature.

I have been reading a lot about New Quizzes and the great features that are available, but when I go to create a quiz, I do not have any new options. I checked to make sure New Quizzes is enabled and it is. Here is what I see when I start to make a quiz. How can I use New Quizzes instead of what I have below? I do not want the computer to read the word, I want the students to be able to click the word and have it play my voice recording of the pronunciation.

Hi, I am developing a foreign language course and it would really be beneficial to be able to click a word and have the pronunciation play upon clicking. Currently, I do not see a way to do that. Hi Stephen, I appreciate your response. I am glad you shared this information and I will be making use of it for some things. It is a great feature, the only issue is that I tried it out with certain words and the English translations were not correct. What I really would like is to just be able to create content in Canvas and have the ability to click on the word in Japanese and have the word read to the student with my recording of me pronouncing the word.
