For instructors who are teaching hi-flex (courses where students choose to come to class or study online), can you add a feature that allows instructors to mark an "Online" assignment that has been turned in "on paper" as "submitted"? To allow for flexibility (especially during the pandemic), instructors often include the "submit online" option for assignments that normally would be submitted in-class, so that students working from home can still submit their assignments. The problem is, students who have submitted their assignments in class continue to get reminder notifications and their assignments are assigned a "missing" status once the due date has passed. This can be stressful for students, and can also condition them to ignore the due date reminders. I would like to see an option to mark an "Online" assignment as submitted, when a student submits it in class. This feature would give instructors time to grade these types of assignments and alleviate the stress of the "missing" status and reminders, in the meantime. Thank you for considering this request.

Please add a feature to automatically award points for credit/no credit assignments/discussions. As a Canvas admin, I have had a number of faculty ask for this feature. This would be incredibly helpful for faculty workload.

Please incorporate this feature into quizzes. Faculty need the ability to view and annotate file upload questions in Speedgrader. Many faculty have to create elaborate (and clunky) workarounds because of the lack of this functionality in quizzes.

Currently in “Quiz Statistics” the text provided from the answers is stripped of all formatting when generating the statistics. Because of this, answers as shown by the "Quiz Statistics" function does not show the complete answer if there is a greek letter, superscript or subscript present. Greek letters are missing entirely. Superscripts and subscripts are presented as full size numbers. This is awkward when discussing answers with a class. It would be helpful if the answers retained the formatting so that all greek lettering and super/sub scripting would be visible to students during class discussions.
