How do I add a Google Voice number as a textable number? I use Google Voice. It seems like you won't allow me to add it as a textable number. Is there anything that I can do to change that? |

In the main Canvas notifications, I have discussions and discussion posts both set to daily summaries. My email at the top of the column is my normal regular email that they were coming to last semester.
In the course, I have daily or weekly emails set for everything except announcements by me, and all submissions, although submission comments are turned on. Do I need all submissions on? I don't see a reset to reset the course to whatever the default should be.
What do I need to do to get emails about comments to posts from other students (so I can know somebody replied so I can reply to them), and to know about comments on my assignments from my instructor?
I've checked my spam folder and there's nothing from Canvas in it.

One assignment asks me to build off of a different (previously submitted) assignment. I don't have a local copy of that assignment anymore. How do I download the previously submitted assignment? I can see it in the list of uploaded assignments if I choose to resubmit it but it won't let me download it from that list. Edit: I've got it. Go to the assignment page. In the top right, there's a Submission Details page. It can be downloaded from there.

So the proper thing to do is to flip back and forth between the quiz view and the grades view? Why bother having a separate quiz list if it's not really going to be useful?

Ok, so Canvas will no longer be using SMS but Google Voice does support MMS. Is Canvas planning on adding that or otherwise allowing people to add a Google Voice telephone number?

As a student, I have a list of quizzes. Some have been completed and some haven't but when I look at the list of quizzes I can't see a way to know how to tell which is which. If I come back next week and don't remember exactly where I left off, how can I figure that out without possibly dipping into multiple quizzes? If multiple quizzes allow multiple retakes and I go through and take all of them once, how do I see which has a high score or a low score and that I should potentially prioritize retaking? For instance, in the list one quiz says 10 points 6 questions. The following says 12 points 4 questions. Is the 10 low or high? What about the 12? Do I need to keep dipping back into those quizzes? It kind of seems like I'm missing a lot when I look at the list of quizzes for a course.
